Who We Are
Calvin Davenport Inc. was founded in Rocky Mount, North Carolina with a simple belief: commercial construction should be straightforward, honest, and built to last. What started as a small operation has grown into one of the region's most respected general contracting firms — without ever losing sight of that founding principle.
Over the past 25+ years, we've completed more than 500 commercial projects across North Carolina — from ground-up office buildings and industrial facilities to complex tenant improvements and historic renovations. Every project, regardless of size, receives the same level of attention, accountability, and craftsmanship.
We work primarily with commercial property owners, developers, and businesses who need a contractor they can count on. Our clients come back to us project after project because we do what we say we're going to do — on time, on budget, and without surprises.

Founder & President
Calvin founded the company in Rocky Mount with a hands-on approach and a commitment to quality that still defines every project we take on today. With 30+ years in commercial construction, he remains actively involved in client relationships and project oversight.
Marcus Webb
Vice President of Operations
Marcus oversees all field operations, subcontractor relationships, and project delivery. His background in structural engineering and 20 years of on-site experience ensure every project is built to spec and on schedule.
Diane Holloway
Director of Pre-Construction
Diane leads estimating, value engineering, and pre-construction planning. Her meticulous approach to budgeting and scheduling is a key reason our projects consistently come in on time and on budget.
